1. What is a Solarlogin account? Who can have one?
A Solarlogin account is for anyone interested in attending the Solar'08 conference. This account is necessary to submit an abstract and to register for the conference. You must create one account per person. You may not falsify your identity or impersonate another person when creating this account.
2. Can I register more than one person with a single login account?
No. Each participant requires a separate login account.
3. Why can't I see anything in the Latest News box on the first page of this website?
Likely you have javascript disabled. To access the full features of the Solar website, you should adjust your preferences for your browser to enable javascript, and also upgrade/install the latest Macromedia flash plugin.
4. What if I've forgotten my password?
Please go to the Login page and use the forgotton password link, this will e-mail you a new password.
5. Is there an early bird deadline?
Yes. Register and make final payment to our bank account any time before November 16th and you'll receive a reduced registration fee! If you register after the 14 December registration deadline you will incur a late fee.
6. Do I get my money back if I cancel?
Refund of registration fees minus a 50 euro processing fee will be made up until January 1st. Up until February 1st, 25% of the fees will be returned, no refund is possible after the February 1st deadline. Administrative fees will be incurred for a full refund.
7. Can I submit more than one abstract for consideration?
Yes. Do not create another login account, you may submit more than one abstract with the same account.
8. Do you book accommodation?
Yes. You may pre-book your accommodation through us during registration at special rates for conference attendees. Several accommodation options/hotels are available. Flexible booking is also available if you think you may need to change your travel dates.
9. Can I bring accompanying persons?
Yes. Solar has a fantastic visitor's program for accompanying persons with daily guided tours to the sights and sounds of Egypt, as well as a Post-Conference tour. Egypt is a very child friendly environment and goes out of its way to make travel for families comfortable and enjoyable. Children under age 12 are able to attend the accompanying persons program for FREE! and also receive half-price discounts on meals, banquet tickets, and post-conference tour.
10. I keep getting an error page. What can I do?
Please contact us immediately and indicate exactly what you were doing at the time the error occurred. We will try to correct the problem in as timely a fashion as possible.
